In 1907, the Appalachian Mountain Club published its first edition of the AMC White Mountain Guide book: a complete guide to the White Mountains complete with bound-in maps, fold-out maps, and seperate pull-out maps. The AMC has put out 28 more editions since then, each unique in their own way. The latest edition is the 29th edition published in 2012.

Fun Facts:
The 1907 book was the 1st edition published and was originally suppose to be a 2-part book.
(The 2nd part was never published, so all copies say "Part 1" - the 2nd part does not exist.)

The 1976 book has a soft and hard cover copy, and is the only gold-colored book to honor the bicentennial year.

The 1983 book was the first color edition to the collection.

The 1998 book was the first edition to be 5x7". All books previous to this copy were 3.5x6.5".
