Green Mountains, Vermont Information |
The Green Mountains of Vermont is a 250 mile mountain range running South to North from the border of Massachusetts up to Quebec, Canada. A lot of people think all mountains in Vermont lie in the Green Mountains, but this is not true. There are other less-known ranges in Vermont including the Taconics and the Northeastern Highlands.
The Green Mountains are part of the Appalachian Mountains, which extends from Quebec, Canada to Alabama.
