The map below shows how to get to the summit of Mount Willard.

The traillhead starts right behind the Crawford Depot, across the train tracks. Hike for about 0.10 miles and you will come to a fork. The A-Z Avalon Trail is to the right heading up to Mount Avalon, Tom or Field. Left will take you up the Mount Willard Trail to the summit of Mount Willard. Hike up the Mount Willard Trail until you reach the summit (1.6 miles). Be sure to stop and look at the Centennial Poolalong the trail on the right (signed). To get back to the parking area, retrace your steps back down the same trail.

These are driving directions to the Crawford Depot on Route 302 in Carroll, NH (The trail starts behind the train tracks behind the depot):
Take exit 35 off I-93 for US3 North towards Twin Mountain / Lancaster. Drive just about 10 miles and turn right at the stop light onto Route 302 East. Drive roughly 8.5 miles and the Crawford Depot will be on the right.
